Memorial Day

I slept in this morning, and then got up and did a few chores Jana, Mom, and I left for Vergas, as Tevia was marching in the Memorial Day parade today. We watched her go by, blowing on her tooter flute, and then we went up and listened to Caleb speak at the cemetery in Vergas. We went home and then I hopped right on the scooter and took off to Grandpa and Nana's house, where Jen and Davin were about to head to the Frazee parade so that they could watch Tevia as well. We got there and found some nice seats on the corner, and then Jeremy and Sherri came walking down from their place with Steven and Dawson, and Apallo, their dog, and watched Tevia play with us. Nana didn't come because she and Grandpa had come to the Vergas one as well as Frazee. After that, we chased Tevia's bus up to the school, and then we went over to our house where we looked at the cows while Tevia changed. We went over to Grandpa and Nana's again and had egg salad sandwiches for lunch, among other things, and then at 3, I went home and took a shower before heading to work. Because it's a national holiday, I should have gotten paid time and a half, but I don't know for sure. I got off work at 8, and went right over to Grandpa and Nana's, where Mom made me some pork sandwiches, and then I had a smore before we had our traditional photo contest that we have every time Jen and Davin visit. Jevin and I tied for first place, and I'll include the picture that I had that tied for first place. As soon as we were done with that, we said good night and then went home.
