 Church Cleaning Day

After last night, I was super happy to be able to sleep in a little bit, except it wasn't actually that long because we had to be at the church around 10 am to help clean ditches. Tevia and Dad headed up that way, while Mom and I dropped Jana off at Grandpa and Nana's house so that Nana could help her with her math, and then we went up to the church. As soon as we got there, David, Brock and I started down one side of the road cleaning the ditches, and ended up getting almost 4 bags of trash, including a bunch of parts from where a Chevy had hit a tree. We got back to the church and had some lunch (everyone was supposed to bring food for their own family, but hey, unattended food = free game), and then went out and raked, mowed, and picked up the lawn, as well as cutting some old branches off the trees. I had to print some things out for Rhonda about VBS, and then Mom and I went back over to Grandpa and Nana's to pick up Jana, and then came home. I had planned on running over to Rose lake at some point, but I got a bit of a scuff on my foot and had to spend awhile in the bath instead trying to scrub all the dirt out of it. Then, we just chilled at home for the rest of the evening, and watched "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" (the Tim Burton version).
