Cinco de Mayo

I was so excited to finally be able to sleep in this morning... and then I woke up at 7am and it ruined my entire early Saturday morning experience. Thankfully I was able to fall back asleep somewhat and sleep for a little longer. I woke up and then had a second rude awakening because Mom called and wanted to make sure that we were all out of bed. I cleaned my room and dumped about 5 gallons of Febreze in there to make sure it smelled nice, and then at 11pm Grandpa came and picked us up. Because it was Cinco de Mayo, I was wearing my big sombrero and we were on our way to the grocery store to get taco makings, which we did successfully. As soon as we got home, I started on the tacos while Grandpa fixed the lawnmower, and then we had a super good taco lunch. We sat down after cleanup, and discussed what we were going to do that afternoon, especially since it looked like rain. Eventually we decided on going to see Avengers: Infinity War in the Detroit Lakes Cinema, and I don't want to spoil it, but it was horrible, except it was also amazing. I would go see it again, just so I could hate it more. After the movie, we picked up some pizza from Papa Murphey's and then brought them home to Nana, who hadn't wanted to go see the movie. I hopped in the canoe, and canoed almost half way across the lake, and then turned around and started powering back into the wind, ripping off the blisters as they formed because then they'll heal better. When I finally got back to the dock, I was utterly exhausted, and also famished, so I went inside and had some pizza, chips, and a pop. After a few minutes, Mom and Dad came over and so we all stayed and talked for awhile before going home with them. The cows were out browsing the selection of fresh grass in the lawn, so I went and petted them for awhile before going inside and trying to avoid the various arguments that were happening. Finished doing some photo editing stuff and then went to bed, as all that canoeing wore me out.
