January 30, 2018Ben Likes Tacos
Today was pretty regular- Jana and I had classes in the morning, and then after lunch, Mom went over to see Ruby. I worked on the church website for a couple of hours, and then decided that I didn’t like it, so trashed the whole thing (after making a backup copy) and rebuilt the whole site. It’s very nice, and I really am proud of a button and a menu in particular. Dad went out for a ski, and I decided to make tacos for dinner. I texted Mom to pick up some ingredients, and then I decided to invite Ben over for dinner. He came over at like 6:15pm, and brought lettuce and tortillas because Mom had forgotten them. We had tacos, which were like, amazing, and then Ben and I messed around with the website for awhile. He showed me the Vineyard church website which is like so amazing, like it even has a video in the background, so I need to make our site better so that we’re cool too. Then Ben and Dad started talking about some of his college classes while Mom m…

January 29, 2018The Car Broke. Again.
Mom worked today, so that was nice, and then Jana and Tevia and I had school. The GMC had been acting up, so Mom took the Toyota to work, and left the Acadia at home. We had chapel at 8 as always, and then jumped into school again, after the nice weekend. I had 20 assignments for the week, plus like 20 more due for MState, which is the 100% most waste of time in the world as it is designed to make one less dependent on God, and more dependent on self. After lunch, Dad and I brought the GMC into the dealer to have it repaired, where we ran into Steve Hershberger, Betty’s son, who we talked to. Then we drove home for me to take a shower, and then I went to work from 4-7. Mom picked me up, and started drilling me for some reason, and then Dad had been messing with my computer, which upset me. We had dinner, then after some more homework, it was time for bed.

January 28, 2018Dawson is Big
Well, we went to church today. There was communion, and it went well. Jesse was preaching on something to do with antibiotics, and about how when he went to the doctor, they accidentally fixed his ingrown toenail. Seemed legit. After church, Bradly, Brock, and I ran over to Ben’s place, where we raided his fridge, freezer, and any other food we could find. I ended up taking 4 sodas. Johnna gave me a ride back to the church so that I didn’t have to walk. Then I drove home, and Mom sat in the back. We were just chilling at our house when Jeremy and Sherri showed up for some reason, and they had Dawson with them. He’s like 6 months now I think, and he’s really starting to be more observant. Once they left, we went over to Grandpa and Nana’s, where they had like 20 turkeys and 3 deer, at different times, in their yard. We then returned home and watched The Curse of the Black Pearl before bed.

January 27, 2018Tubing in DL

Today was a slow day- Mom and Dad are still gone on their vacation, so we are staying at Grandpa and Nana’s. Since there wasn’t any school or work, I slept in until almost 10, with multiple times to get up and go get something to eat. We didn’t really have anything to do, as Nana didn’t have any appointments after her knee surgery, and so we just kind of bummed around. It was cloudy and then started snowing around 2:30. We had chapel at one point, and then went over to do chores at the house before going into DL to go tubing with the church. I’ve never been tubing before and so it was exciting. There were a lot of us there, and Gabe and Phoenix had come with Johnna, which was cool. It wasn’t very cold out, and so it was fun. We had tickets for 3-5, and I wanted to get my money’s worth, so I didn’t spend any time sitting inside like Tevia did. Gabe was inside a lot too, but it was because he hurt his shin in boxing, so it was okay. The last time down, I felt…

God Loves Gays!

God Loves Gay People   There is a lot of hate, and there always has been, where homosexuality is involved. An argument that I've heard, and sadly, more often than I'd like to admit, is that God doesn't love gay people. God doesn't love the homosexual community. That God detests and hates people who are gay. This is a lie.      The truth is, God loves gays. God loves bisexual, transgender, and "queer" people. And what's more, God also loves murderers, liars, terrorists, prostitutes, black people, white people, and everyone in the middle. God loves everyone. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. There is a catch though- Jesus said, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching." There is no such thing as big sins and little sins- there are only sins.
God loves murderers- but murder isn't right.
God loves liars- but lying isn't right.
God loves terrorist…
